KA-BAR knives
The KA-BAR Fighting Knife is arguably the most famous military knife ever made. Immediately recognizable, KA-BAR has come to reflect both a knife and a company. Millions of the renown fighting knives were made for the U.S. Marine Corp. during World War II. The KA-BAR design proved so popular that Union Cutlery, the company that invented the knife, renamed itself KA-BAR in 1952. Today, KA-BAR Knives, Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alcas Corporation, an internationally recognized cutlery company in Olean, New York. KA-BAR Knives sill manufactures the world-famous KA-BAR U.S.M.C. Fighting/Utility Knife, along with many other fine knives for outdoorsmen, hunters, fishermen, and knife collectors.
