The first fixed blade production knife made from D2 sheet stock tool steel, one of the toughest steels used in knife making. Blades are laser-cut and heat-treated to HRC 59-60, then deep frozen to -120 degrees F? for superior hardness and edge retention. Epoxy powder-coated blades have buff polished edges honed to a razor-sharp finish. Powdered metal butt caps and guards. Sheath has molded blade insert for firm, flexible and quiet insertion / extraction. Nylon sheath also includes large utility pouch for added storage.
