Daiwa's Super Speed Shaft totally disengages gearing from the lightweight, aircraft aluminum spool when casting for unprecedented spool freedom, while Magforce-V automatically applies smooth magnetic damping only when needed. So the spool starts faster and seems to spin forever. And, because the Magforce-V adjustment is inside, you can't accidentally change the setting. A rigid one-piece machined aluminum frame firmly supports the drive train at six points.
